Leeds United Ladies (whose captain Claire Sykes is Scotton Scorchers community player and whose leading goal scorer Kez is a friend and "drop in" coach) beat Sunderland to make their second successive league cup final where they will play Aston Villa. This is on the back of their county cup success where they beat Huddersfield in the final last weekend.
The final is to be played at York City’s Bootham Crescent ground on Sunday 5 May, kick-off at 2pm.
Please note that any junior attending a Leeds United Ladies home game wearing their Scotton Scorchers Jacket will be admitted free of charge. Home games are normally played at Farsley Celtic’s ground in Farsley. However the girls are playing Manchester City in the league on Thursday 2nd May and this game will be played at Elland Road, the home ground of Leeds United. Scotton Scorchers players will need to pay £2.50 concession fee for the game at Elland Road. Tickets must be purchased in advance from leedsunited.com ticket office. Please go along and support the ladies as they push for top spot in the league.
COME ON THE LEEDS UNITED LADIES SCORCHERS!
