Our glorious Winter so far - and the rain over the last couple of days - has topped up the snow-thaw and left Percy Fields with a lot of standing water!
However we are DETERMINED to play the games.
So we have arranged to play these games AT RIPLEYS GROUND - (The Ripley Cricket Club) - which is thankfully not too much of a diversion - just 5 minutes down the road. Its a slightly later Kick Off so there are some benefits - a bit of a lie in!
Fixture details are now as follows:
Location: Ripley Cricket Club (The normal place we always play Ripley - just over the round-about on the left)
Date: Saturday 23 Jan
Time: Kick Off 9.45am so please be there for 9.20am
With 5 weeks without training for those who couldn't make the indoor session, we need to sharpen them up with a few warm-ups and drills before the games.
As ever, please remember to make sure the boys turn up in the match jackets so they look the part - and with shin guards, a drink and boots.
