U 11 Scarborough Tournament

After a nervous start to the tournament the U 11 boys eventually got into their stride finishing 5th in the group. The boys had to come to terms with the physical side of the game and once they started competing for the 50/50 balls they played some very good football. Mike Baker believes all bodes well for next season and was more than pleased with the boys tactical awareness and strength of character. Overall the tournament was a very worthwhile excercise and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. The caravan accomodation was very comfortable and the end of tournament presentation was very well organised with the Welsh goalkeeping legend, Neville Southall presenting the trophies.
The boys who represented the club were: Hugo Corbett, Harry Fewkes, Bradley Thompson, Luke Powderley, Charlie Baker, Elliot Tutt, Johnny Vaux, Jordan Tear, Sam Lockwood, Toby Riley, Ollie Kon and Robbie Grainger. Well done to them all.#
