Scottons U11 red squad saw their unbeaten league run come to an end with a
narrow 2-1 loss. The return friendly saw Scotton turn the
tables and notch up an impressive 2-10 triumph.
Scottons U9s played out two fantastic games. The first a very
competitive match which after some end to end football saw Scotton edge
it with a 2 - 1 win, with goals from Danny Bradshaw and George Dooley,
complimented by fantastic defensive performances from Ollie Hunter and
Harry Newsome. The second no less compettive included a solid
perfomance from both teams which ended in a 3 -1 win to Hampthswaite,
Scotton goal a great strike from Jake Hargreaves.
Scottons U7s also played 3 games, and with conditions under foot heavy,
the youngster showed some brilliant commitment with their play rewarded
with goals from Jake Bradshaw, Callum Penny and Joseph Navier and
fabulous all-round displays from Matt Spink and a tireless Darren
Barker.
Scotton U11 U11 black squad take three wins against a much improved
Knaresborough Celtic side. In the league match, goals from Elliot Tutt
and Josh Osborne clinched the 2-1 victory. The first friendly match saw
the same score line with goals for Charlie Phillips and Matt Kingsley.
The second friendy finished 5-1 to the Scorchers with no less than four
goals for Josh Osborne and one for Robbie Granger.
