Fixtures this Saturday, with all age groups playing at home against
Beckwithshaw Saints
In the U11s, both teams played skilful and competitive football but it
was SCOTTON who settled quickly and displayed excellent teamwork and
commitment. Captain, Harry Fewkes was first on the score sheet, with
Man of the Match Harry Wells scoring twice to secure a well desired 3 -
0 victory. The return leg was no less completive with SCOTTON's Sam
Lockwood slotting home for a 2 - 1 win.
Scotton U9s, produced another fantastic display, completing a hatrick
of wins over a very competitive Beckwithshaw side. Results were 3 - 0
in the first with a hat trick from Dominic Tear, 4 -2 in the second
with goals from Sam Gibbon, Jamie Foster, Alex Shaw and topped off with
a fantastic goal from Giovanni Passerallo. The final game finished 6 -
3, including a hatrick from Jake Jones and 2 goals from Lorcan
Gallagher finished by a goal from George Dooley.
SCOTTON U7s played three action-packed and very even games against The
Saints, with some great commitment up front rewarded by goals from
David Lyon, Matt Spink and Callum Penny. At the back, solid stints in
goal and in defence from, among others, Jacob Bradshaw and Darren
Barker kept out many Beckwithshaw attacks. The final results saw the
boys win 2-1, lose 2-4 and win the final game 3-0.
